It is once again time to gear up for the JDRF Miles For Makenzie walk to cure diabetes. The walk will be at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta again this year.

In 2006, Makenzie, Kelle, Morgan, Davis and David walked the 3.1-mile course along with 30 other Family members, Friends and Co-workers on our team. Our Team raised over $7,000 that will go directly to vital research to find the cure for diabetes and its complications.
We'd like to do even more this year. With each advance in technology and research, we are one mile closer to the finish line that represents the cure for diabetes. Please help us and Makenzie cross the finish line to a cure. You can do this by helping the researchers as they work to find a cure for this disease that affects so many children.
Here are some ways that you can help:
- Collect donations and walk with us on October 21 st at Centennial Olympic Park. (Don't worry; we have been assured that parking will not be a problem).
- Send a donation to help fund the researchers so that they can find a cure.
- Pray that God will give the researchers the knowledge and wisdom needed to defeat this disease.
- Pray for Makenzie that she will feel well and that she will not suffer from serious long-term effects of the disease such as kidney failure, blindness, and heart disease.
